How to Add Widgets to Wix Websites

Do you want to know how to embed widgets on your websites created on Wix?

You can install any HTML widget on your Wix website, blog, or online store.

There are two widget embeddable options:

1. Inline widget installation — Best to unique use cases such as displaying a countdown timer, reviews, or adding a calculator widget.
2. Site-wide widget installation — Best for showcasing a widget on your entire website. Examples of these types of widgets are notification bars, live chat widgets, and scroll-to-element or top buttons which are usually displayed throughout the entire website.

How to embed a widget on a Wix page

1. Log into your Wix account, edit your website, and go to the page you want to add the widget.
2. Click on the “+” icon to add elements. Search for the Embed HTML element under the “Embed Code” element category and drag and drop it into a placement on the web page, as seen in the screenshot below.

3. Add the embed code for the widget.

How to add widgets to Wix to display on all pages

1. Log into your Wix account, select the website to which you want to add widgets, and go to “Settings.” Now scroll down to click “Custom Code” under the Advanced section.

2. Click on the “Add Custom Code” button.

3. Copy and paste the embed code on it and select the “Head” choice as the code placement.
