How to use the Search Bar widget builder

  1. Choose a template (You can customize the template later)
  2. Create a search engine on GSE (Google’s Custom Search Engine) and get the API key. Then, apply the necessary details under the “Google Search Engine ID” and “Google API Key” fields.
  3. Customize the search engine widget by choosing a layout results display type and changing the widget’s appearance.
  4. Click on the “Add to website” button once you have finished designing the search bar widget, and sign up on the following page to save your widget.
  5. Get the embed code and use it on your website.
