Webflow Testimonials Slider Widget: Add Client Quotes and Logos on Your Webflow Site

Use the builder below to create a free testimonials slider for your Webflow site. Pick a template and click “Continue with this template” to add your first testimonial.

Agency sites, SaaS landing pages and portfolios built in Webflow need social proof near the call to action: a quote from a client, their role and their company logo. A testimonials slider gives you that without building a slider and interactions by hand. Once it’s live, anyone on your team can add new quotes in the builder without opening the Designer.

How to add a Testimonials Slider widget to Webflow

1. Create your widget

  1. Choose a template: Slider, Rotator, Carousel, Cards, Badge, Customer Story, List or Slider without Star Ratings.
  2. Add your testimonials: click “Add Testimonial” and enter the quote, the client’s name, a caption with their role and company, the date and a profile picture. Add the company logo, website URL or photos, and drag testimonials into order.
  3. Pick a layout: Carousel or Slider for a hero section, Grid or Masonry for a wall of quotes, or Floating Badge. Set a maximum width to fit your grid.
  4. Match your design: choose a card style, a color scheme and an accent color. Use custom CSS to fine-tune fonts or spacing.
  5. Save it: click “Add to website for free“, sign up on the next page and copy your embed code.

2. Add it to your Webflow site

  1. Open the page in the Webflow Designer.
  2. Open the Add panel and drag a Code Embed element where the slider should appear.
  3. Paste the slider code and click Save & Close.
  4. The slider won’t show on the canvas, because scripts don’t render inside the Designer. Use Preview or publish to see it.
  5. Publish the site and check the slider on the live page at desktop, tablet and phone widths.

Where to put the Testimonials Slider widget on your Webflow site

  • Just below the hero of a landing page, as a row of client quotes with logos.
  • Next to your pricing table or sign-up form, where visitors decide whether to start.
  • On case study pages, using the Customer Story template for a longer quote from that client.
  • On an agency or studio About page, with the Grid or Masonry layout to show many clients at once.

Do you need a paid Webflow plan?

Yes. The Code Embed element and custom code in Webflow require a paid site plan or workspace plan. Without one, you can’t add the widget code, so upgrade the site or workspace first.

For the Floating Badge layout on every page, paste the code into Site settings › Custom code › Footer code instead of a Code Embed; it falls under the same paid-plan rule. The widget’s own free plan covers one widget with up to 200 views a month on unlimited websites, with a small Elfsight link; paid widget plans start at $5 a month, billed yearly.

Frequently asked questions

Which Webflow plan do I need for the testimonials slider?

A paid site plan or workspace plan. Webflow only allows the Code Embed element and custom code on paid plans.

Why can’t I see the slider in the Webflow Designer?

Scripts don’t run inside the Designer canvas. Click Preview or publish the site to see the slider working.

Can I show client logos and job titles?

Yes. Each testimonial has a logo field and a caption, which you can use for the client’s role and company.

How do I add a floating testimonials badge to every Webflow page?

Choose the Floating Badge layout and paste the code into Site settings › Custom code › Footer code, then publish. This also needs a paid site or workspace plan.

Can my team add testimonials without using the Designer?

Yes. Add or edit them in your Elfsight dashboard and save. The slider on your Webflow site updates automatically, with no need to publish again.
